Faster fulfillment for everyone.

The Story Behind Our Story

Chris, Jerome and Rylan
From left, Chris, Jerome and Rylan.

In 2011 Rylan Hamilton and Jerome Dubois met at Kiva Systems. Fast forward to 2015, Rylan is running Solutions at Amazon Robotics and Jerome is running strategic initiatives within Amazon's Seller Services organization. During this time Chris Cacioppo was building interactive hardware and software solutions.

The team knew the benefits robotics and software could bring to fulfillment but were also aware of the limitations of existing offerings. With e-commerce growth accelerating, technology advancing and customers demanding better service, the team saw the conditions for the “perfect storm.” So they decided to jump in.

6 River Systems was founded on redefining fulfillment, the idea of making warehouses faster with flexible, human first and innovative products that deliver immediate value. Today, as part of global commerce leader Shopify, the journey continues to empower operators and entrepreneurs to compete in a multi-channel commerce world.

Give Your Team the Right Tools

  • Improve putaway, picking, sortation, packing and shipping
  • Interleave replenishment and other tasks to improve utilization of people and equipment across the facility for additional efficiency

Assign Work Intelligently

  • Smart allocation rules assign work from your order pool to optimize picking efficiency
  • 6RS supports singles, batch, discrete, zone and cluster picking - simultaneously
  • Associates are guided through a cart-build process at induction; totes can also be automatically loaded
